Expect this open-air museum complex to showcase traditional architecture, crafts, and customs in a picturesque setting.

You get to wander through charming villages, admire the wooden churches, and witness demonstrations of traditional crafts, all in one spot. You know, it feels very much like experiencing the daily life of generations past while gaining a deeper appreciation for the region’s cultural tapestry. And, if you want to experience the very best of what the museum has to offer, check in advance for the pagan day of Sanziene. It is usually around mid-June on the Internation day of IE (The traditional Romanian costume) when everybody comes dressed with one. You won’t regret the experience!
